30th Jun 2019 – Woohoo~ here is a one-stop integrated wellness centre of relaxation and self-pampering, a place which you should totally check out! I was privileged to be invited for their pre-opening session called the Deep Relaxation Sound Bath. The session was conducted by OhanaJo, one of the residences in FoW. 

As we arrived the 4-storey building, we were welcomed by friendly staffs (hope this maintains hehe…) and if you are into sound bowls, there is a unique welcome gong ritual which you can try at the lobby area. The place gives us the Balinese and Thai vibe~ good news guys, its very Instagrammable. Haha~

 

As we registered our details, one of the coach brought us for a hub tour from ground floor to the third floor. As we walked up the stairs, the stairway was decorated with bamboo. I must say they really put a lot of thought into the look and feel of this place~ you can also take photos at any corner too! 

GROUND FLOOR – It is the lobby, waiting area and there is a cafe at the back, where you can chill with a cup of coffee, tea and have some cakes while waiting. 

 

FIRST FLOOR – Once open to public, this floor is strictly for ladies only. This floor consists of rooms for massage, waxing and facial. Not to mention, the space are full of beautiful balinese inspired decoration and artistic wooden carpentry.

 

SECOND FLOOR – If you come with your male partners or family, not to worry, the rooms on this  floor are accessible for both males and females, and should there be services required from the first floor, the staff will come up to serve you~ There is a co-working space available for you to work if you decide to spend the whole day there. The holistic hair scalp treatment is on this level too. 

 

THIRD FLOOR – 3 things to look out for… No.1, as you enter on the right, you will see a shelf of beautiful sound bowls imported from Nepal and sparkly crystals with their information. No.2, there will be 2 doors, as you go through the door on the right, you will see a dome-like design which looks like a huge sun ascending above you. This place will make you go Woahhh… It is a space for small and private group healing sessions. No.3, the door on the left which is the doorway to the studio of OhanaJo, where they conduct yoga, meditation, healing sessions here.

Jojo is such a wonderful teacher and with her calm voice, she guided us on a journey of relaxation, we did some breathing exercises first and followed by a nap time (yay!!), but better this time… our nap was accompanied by sound bowls and sounds of nature~ I was really relaxed, though my hearing senses heightened, slightly conscious but I was in a super relaxed state, felt time just stood still. It was a very good me-time. I must say this experience is different for every individual, you might knock out, conscious but relaxed, cry, vibrate etc… Well, the only way to describe this is to experience it yourself 🙂 After the session, they gave us a pre-opening gift, we were asked to pick a crystal with a non-dominant hand~ So happy to receive a crystal after the rejuvenating session~ For videos of this day, do check out my Instagram highlight stories on my bio @wowisshuyi.

Payment system – One important thing you need to know is their payment system. It is based on credits, hence registering as you enter is important. They will have your account in their system, but not to worry, it is not activated until you sign up for their packages or make your first payment to experience their services. If you wonder how much is a credit? It is RM1 for 1 credit, credits are valid for 3 years (pretty straight forward and easy to keep track). Once you signed a package or make the first payment, you can top up as you go in the future, they will inform when your credits are running low.
