24th-26th May 2019 – This was an epic trip with my girls~ and all thanks to bestie and bride-to-be, Belle for bringing all of us together celebrating with you!
Great times at the beach, party, midnight swims and spicy conversations~ it was definitely a wonderful time indeed.
We stayed at Villa Anusha, Seminyak which was a walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. The location was good and the helpers at the villa was really helpful. We absolutely love the place and definitely won’t mind staying there again if we have a big group of 8-10 of us.
We also hired 9 massage masseuse who came over to pamper us with Aromatherapy massage sessions. It was quite an amazing experience! It was about Rp 180k per hour (also depending on the type of massage you choose)
Places we visited:
The Lawn
Very nice ambience and the food was yummy. They have a spinning DJ and dance floor. The crowd was good too. If you are wondering, we spent about Rp 850k that night, we all had drinks and the food was enough.
Gate of Heaven
Left our villa at 6:30am, reached at about 9am, however the estimated time to queuing-in-line is 2 hours for taking photos in between Gate of Heaven. We decided to take a group photo in front instead to save time. (Tip: better go there super early, or if you have lots of time to spare, you can wait in line)
Tirta Gangga
It is also called Water Palace. This is 20 minutes away from Gate of Heaven. It is definitely one of the instagramable places to visit. There is a shop there which you can take photos with wildlife animals such as phyton, baby owls, luwak fox, bats and iguana too.
Ubud Market
A market full of local handmade crafts, clothings and many other things such as coconut bowls, rattan bags etc. Do remember to bargain with them *wink wink.
Sunset by Seminyak Beach
Catch the sunset, it is a must! Absolutely beautiful!
Potato Head Beach Club
A must go place, so beautiful~ They serve really delicious food, best food on our trip! The fried squid was great, and the prawns too. We spent about Rp 920k on drinks and food that night. On top of that we went for a swim too, their swimming pool closes at 12midnight.
Catch the Sunrise at 5:45am
If you get to see the sunset over the beach’s horizon, it means that sunrise is behind us. Another wonderful view to see early in the morning. And the natural light is soooo good for photo-taking too, so do gear up in your swim suit and strike some poses 🙂
Sistersfields
The food here are quite typical like the Australia branch places. If you know what I mean… The drinks there was good~ but I find the portion is not big. If you want to take photos, oh yes, another instagramable place to be too!
This is my first trip to Bali, and I know it wont be my last 🙂
